my robot has been
in planning stage ever
since the basic stamp
microcontrollers were
introduced some time in
the early 90s

but not until recently i
came across a very
simple distance detection
method for automatic
obstacle avoidance

optoelectronics:
ir-diodes
40khz detectors

motors:
cont. rotation servos

wheels:
double disks
rubber seal tires
